This program prepares students to address information technology-related challenges at the highest level of an organization. Students examine the latest advancements in technology and develop solutions for complex, real-world industry challenges. They also study ways to effectively communicate complex IT strategies to company executives and stakeholders. Coursework focuses on IT strategic analysis, information management, and human-computer interaction. The curriculum blends theory and practice through a variety of learning formats, including leadership simulations, seminar courses, a doctoral study, and face-to-face residencies.

Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the Doctor of Information Technology (D.I.T.) program will be prepared to:
- Assess the relevance of current and emerging business theory and practice from an interdisciplinary perspective.
- Formulate and execute effective solutions to complex, real-world problems common to the practice of business and management.
- Apply the current research literature from business and management to practical problems found in business and management.
- Design and conduct rigorous research that contributes to the professional body of knowledge on business and management.
- Clearly communicate to stakeholders about problem statements, research approaches and results, solutions, and assessment.
- Explain their ethical responsibilities as a member of the business community and citizens in society.
