The BS in Interdisciplinary Studies degree program provides students a comprehensive approach and the tools to understand and respond to complex situations, issues, and problems that might arise within a business, family environment, organization, or community. In this program, students achieve mastery of interdisciplinary methods of solving problems using a project-oriented approach to critical thinking, civic discourse, and socially-constructed knowledge. Graduates of the Interdisciplinary Studies program become the future knowledge creators and innovators needed to see and solve increasingly complex issues in organizations, the public sphere, and society.
Note: This program is currently only available for admission for students who have completed high school or the equivalent in 2019 or 2020. Upon successful completion of the first four courses, students will be eligible to earn a professional certificate in Foundations for Leading Inclusive Social Change.
