Crime and Criminal Investigation - BS in Criminal Justice

In this concentration, students explore theories and research that provide cognitive, behavioral, and psychological explanations of criminal behavior. The Crime and Criminal Investigation concentration is ideal for law enforcement officers already working as detectives or those seeking to become investigators and gain the skills needed for promotion up the ranks to sergeant.

Choose 13 courses from general education , BS in Criminal Justice, or other Walden bachelor’s degree programs. Elective credits should total 65 to meet the program requirements. At least 5 credits must be at the 3000, 4000, or 5000 level. Students may also be eligible to transfer previous credit to meet their elective requirements.
