Consulting Psychology–Ph.D. in I/O Psychology

The Consulting Psychology specialization combines advanced I/O theory with perspectives on the global business environment, preparing students to help build more competitive and effective organizations. Coursework examines the impact of globalization, technological innovation, business processes, management structures, and the emergence of virtual organizations on the 21st-century workplace and economy. Students also explore the many human and market factors that affect organizational success. Students may also choose one elective course from other doctoral specializations in Research and Evaluation; Forensic Consulting, Organizational Diversity and Social Change, or Leadership Development and Coaching.
