In this concentration, students have the opportunity to gain a fundamental understanding of marketing principles, concepts, and best practices. Through their coursework, students incorporate the closely related fields of marketing and communication by focusing on the development of targeted communications that support awareness initiatives, strategies and concepts in international marketing, and integrated media planning and purchasing.
Students are to select 12 additional courses to fulfill the elective requirement. Students may choose courses from either General Education courses, B.S. in Business Communication concentration courses, B.S. in Business Adminstration courses, or courses from any of Walden’s bachelor’s degree programs. Individual course prerequisites apply. These elective credits are in addition to the 5-credit general education elective. Note on Minors: Electives can also be used to complete a six-course minor.
