HUMN 8240 - Human Motivation


(5 cr.) Students in this course receive an overview of physiological, psychological, and social aspects in the study of motivation, including an exploration of historical and contemporary theories and perspectives. Students focus on both conceptual understanding of theories associated with motivation and their applications to personal, professional, and social issues. Major topics include physiological, learned, cognitive, and emotional aspects of motivation. Themes of diversity are threaded throughout the course.
