Become a more effective reading teacher with a course that lays the foundation for literacy instruction. Learn the stages of literacy development and the core concepts that support effective literacy instruction, such as language development and the five pillars of reading. Teachers will also explore a new mindset for reading that examines a developmental approach to literacy instruction, new literacy’s, and the factors that influence reading motivation. Develop the knowledge and confidence to help students become more proficient readers.
