This course gives teachers the opportunity to explore how multimedia and the Internet can support inquiry-based learning, as well as foster collaborative problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking in their students. Acquire the strategies to strengthen students’ learning through technology, while enhancing one’s own technical knowledge.
Learn how to:
- Embed “new literacy” skills into content-area lessons.
- Align “new literacy” skills with content-area standards.
- Create an inquiry-based unit plan for evaluating and synthesizing Internet resources.
