MMBA 6530 - Marketing


(3 sem. cr.) Students are provided with the opportunity to gain an understanding of marketing and its relationship to the successful management of today’s business organizations. Students engage in practical assignments, focusing on how managers assess the environment and make business decisions based on available evidence or in the face of incomplete market information and rapidly changing market environment. Students also examine how to develop marketing strategies that drive profitability, such as choosing a market segment to target and deciding how to differentiate products or services from those of the competition. Finally, students learn how to make marketing-mix decisions, such as how to price, distribute, and promote products or services in a way that is consistent with the selected target market and desired positioning.
