MMBA 6510 - Leading People♦


(3 sem. cr.) Modern leaders must understand contemporary leadership concepts, including varying leadership styles, ways to accommodate diversity, and the impact of culture on an organization. In this course, students focus on major leadership theories and the human dimension of business, including individual and group behaviors and organizational culture. They explore some of the basic dimensions of human resource management, as those dimensions affect the organization and the employee. Students explore contemporary thinking about leadership and its importance in today’s business world. They also develop a plan for personal and professional growth to enhance their current position or prepare for a successful career in leadership.
