Walden University’s School of Criminal Justice is committed to advancing the field of criminal justice studies to promote a positive impact to our communities. With a focus on both theoretical and conceptual knowledge of criminology, criminal justice, and social justice, our faculty and programs provide real-world expertise and research to our students.
Grounded in the social sciences and with a focus on ethical leadership, the School of Criminal Justice equips students to become leaders of positive social change while advancing their knowledge and professional development within the public, private, or nonprofit sector. Our programs engage in developing original and innovative research under the mentoring of experienced and accomplished faculty within the criminal justice profession. Our graduates are prepared to advance the field of criminal justice, demonstrate ethical leadership, as well as be the next generation of social change within our communities.
The School of Criminal Justice envisions creating a community of lifelong learners and ethical professionals with a passion for social justice in a diverse, global community.
