2014-2015 Walden University Catalog (June 2015) [ARCHIVED CATALOG]

A Message for Students

Welcome to the 2014–2015 Walden University Site

Eric Riedel, PhD

Chief Academic Officer, Walden University

Dear Student,

Congratulations on your decision to attend Walden. Our university is recognized for the quality of its educational mission by its institutional and programmatic accreditors. Whether this is your first year with us or your last, you have shown your dedication, not only to learning and professional growth, but to using your education to make a positive impact on the world around you.

At Walden, we are committed to your success. As a student, you will experience many challenges and rewards on your educational journey. Please know that faculty and staff are here to assist at every step and continually look for ways to improve the educational process for students.

While the most recent version of the handbook is your reference for all policies and procedures, you are still subject to the degree requirements described for the academic year during which you were admitted. I encourage you to give us feedback about the catalog and handbook by sending your comments to catalog@waldenu.edu.

As a Walden student, you have access to a wide range of support services specifically designed for our programs. The most successful students are the ones who don’t hesitate to take advantage of the advice and assistance from academic advisors, student support, and academic skills center (to name just a few). Visit your myWalden portal for a detailed description of other available services and information that will benefit you throughout your time with us.

I wish you success this year and throughout your education at Walden.

Sincerely,

Eric Riedel, PhD

Chief Academic Officer
